At H&G Tea, we want your teas to arrive quickly, safely and in great condition. This Shipping Policy explains how we process and deliver your orders, including subscription boxes and one-off purchases.
1. Shipping Locations
We ship across the United Kingdom and to selected international destinations. International availability may vary depending on your location.
2. Processing Times
- We aim to dispatch all orders within 2 working days.
- Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays.
- Subscription boxes are processed based on your renewal date and follow the same dispatch timeframe.
If we experience high order volumes or delays beyond our control, we will communicate this where possible.
3. Delivery Methods
All orders are shipped from our facility in Hertfordshire, UK using the following services:
UK Orders
Royal Mail 48-Hour Delivery
This service typically delivers within 2 working days after dispatch.
International Orders
International shipping is available, with rates and delivery times shown at checkout. Delivery times vary depending on destination and carrier.

5. Shipping Fees
Shipping fees for UK and international orders are shown clearly at checkout. Subscription customers may receive reduced or free shipping depending on promotions or plan type.
6. Tracking Information
Where available, you will receive a dispatch confirmation email. Tracking availability varies by destination and carrier.
7. Missed Deliveries & Incorrect Addresses
Please ensure your address details are correct at checkout.
H&G Tea is not responsible for:
- Delays caused by incorrect address information
- Orders returned due to missed delivery attempts
- Customs delays or charges for international shipments
If a package is returned to us, we will contact you to arrange redelivery. Additional postage charges may apply.
8. International Customs & Duties
For international customers, import duties, taxes and customs fees may apply depending on your country’s regulations. These charges are not included in our shipping fees and are the responsibility of the customer.
9. Damaged or Missing Orders
If your order arrives damaged, incomplete or does not arrive within a reasonable timeframe, please contact us at hello@handgtea.com.
Include your order number and any relevant photos, and we will resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
10. Subscription Deliveries
Subscription boxes follow the same shipping process as one-off orders. You can change your address, delivery frequency or pause your subscription at any time through your account. Changes must be made before your renewal date.
